I haven't been using my film cameras lately. Film, most especially slides skyrocketed in price in the past few months and there's no constant supply. I don't like using negatives except for portrait film, which is also hard to find, and black and white film, which is expensive plus the additional cost of the D-76 processing. I hope Manila will have a film grocery like Japan has.

I still can't believe it that my picture made it to the cover page. It even crossed my mind not to submit it because of all the smudges and fingerprints the negative went through during red scaling process and the light leaks it had because of film handling. "This is truly a unique release of DPP in that our main topic is best done using Film rather than Digital. Lomomanila's Run Lomo Run was both fun and tiring at the same time. Good thing we ate at Mang Jimmy's after and had a few beers at some place near UP or was it teacher's village? There were only 3 teams of 5 that was originally 6 teams of 5 because most who signed up backed out at the last minute.
