I still can't believe it that my picture made it to the cover page. It even crossed my mind not to submit it because of all the smudges and fingerprints the negative went through during red scaling process and the light leaks it had because of film handling.

Lomomanila's Run Lomo Run was both fun and tiring at the same time. Good thing we ate at Mang Jimmy's after and had a few beers at some place near UP or was it teacher's village? There were only 3 teams of 5 that was originally 6 teams of 5 because most who signed up backed out at the last minute. It was bad that there were only a few contestants but it increased our chances of winning (33.33%) Lomo cameras I think and maybe rolls of film.

We were tasked to do the following things:
1. Alphabetize It! - Take pictures to show the letters of the alphabet. Actual letters are not allowed. (U.P.)
2. 7 Deadly Sins - Show the 7 deadly sins through your shots. (QC Memorial Circle)
3. Mini Cinemalomo - Create a mini movie with your lomographs. Models shouldn't be members of Lomomanila. (Parks & Wildlife) Here the [link] to the Cinemalomo.

I'm a DA newbie though I signed up a few months ago I left my account inactive, I just wanted to make an account and I was too lazy to self-help on how to put an id, webcam, featured dev, etc. So I decided last Thursday to make use of my account. It's really fun here, seeing the works of different people from around the globe and fellow Filipinos too, especially sa mga taga Cebu! Their works make you strive to do better.

A year has almost passed since the birth of Run Lomo Run, a friendly competition designed to harness the untapped potential of Lomomanila newbies.

Enough gear talk. Enough measurebating. It's time to walk the walk and talk the talk. Just shoot or shut up.

It's time to run again. And we're kicking it up a notch.
